Look – life is hard. You’ve got enough to worry about. Let us do some of the work for you.
We’ll bring your bike rental to you, wherever works best for you. And we’ll pick it up when you’re done. Delivery and pickup can be scheduled anytime from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 7 days a week. Yep. You must be 18 years or older to rent or ride our bikes.
We require an I.D. check for all rentals. Kids try to get away with the darndest things.
If you need to cancel a reservation, we understand and we’ll miss you. However, you’ve got to give us plenty of notice.
- With more than 48 hours notice, you will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations 24-48 hours from the rental start time will be refunded 50% of any amounts paid.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of your rental start time, or failure to show up for delivery (“ghosting”), are not eligible for refund.
Now we know the world is a crazy place, and we do live in hurricane territory. If we have to cancel your reservation prior to renting for any reason (like bad weather or global pandemic), regardless of time, we will issue you a full refund.
Sorry, Doc. You’re stuck in this timeline.
Our bikes are all Class 2 electric bikes, which allows a top speed of no more than 20 mph. Don’t worry, they’re plenty fun and you won’t risk altering the space-time continuum in the process.
Your maximum range on a full charge is somewhere between 25-45 miles. Seriously.
For some perspective, a round trip from the southern tip of St. Simons to Fort Frederica is roughly 15 miles.
The range estimate is very broad as it can depend on weather, battery charge level, road conditions, elevation change, weight of the rider plus any cargo, tire pressure, and whether or not you have a lead foot.. er, hand.
Stuff happens. When it does, give us a call. 912.602.5015
We don’t charge for a service call. If you pop the tire or break something, we do charge for the parts needed to repair it. Either way, we’ll fix it or provide you with a replacement.
Yes. Renters are responsible for all damage to or loss of rented equipment and accessories.
No, we cannot provide rentals to Jekyll Island.
Jekyll Island has specifically prohibited e-bike rentals for rent or delivery to the island. If you own an e-bike, however, you are allowed to take it on Jekyll Island with full use of the roads and pathways where bikes can travel.
If you think this prohibition is overbearing and unjustified, we agree with you. Please share your thoughts on the matter with Jekyll Island Authority Leadership.
